About Me

I am a Research Engineer at the Natural Language Processing(NLP) Lab, Samsung Research, Seoul. I am currently working in the Neural Information Retrieval group. I have worked on a wide range of NLP tasks which include:
Automatic Speech Recognition, Machine Translation (Text and Speech), Text to Speech, Question Answering, and Neural Information Retrieval.
Recently, my research work has been focussed towards the simultaneous speech translation task.

Previously, I completed my undergraduate degree with a major in Electrical Engineering and minors in Computer Science(Machine Learning) and Cognitive Sciences from Kanpur. I was fortunate enough to work at the Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO)- IITk Space cell with Prof. Aditya Jagannatham developing improved wireless transmission decoder for Space time trellis codes. I also worked with Prof. Ketan Rajawat in the field of Online Gaussian Processes report.
